We Hope To See You Soon! Greater Glory Church of God is a group of regular people who want to honor our Lord Jesus Christ and encourage each other to grow in our walk with Him.
It's important to us that you feel welcome when visiting. We hope our atmosphere will help you feel relaxed and comfortable. The music and worship are built around Biblical themes that are timeless. We are glad to have you join us in worship! You will be greeted and welcomed.
We are so glad you chose to worship with us and we are excited about all the things God has been doing and will do in our congregation! Lives are being changed by the power of God. There can be little doubt that we have very little power on our own for lasting change to happen in our lives, yet when we choose to allow the Lord to lead and guide us, amazing things can happen.
Our services begin with a time of dynamic praise, worship, and prayer. There is a special time for prayer of deliverance that is open to anyone in need of prayer. We also worship in dance, drama, and ministry in song by a choir.
Our Pastor, Bishop Dennis Walton, delivers the sermon in a very fiery and energetic manner. Whether it is through music, prayer, or preaching, God's word is at the center of all our gatherings. Each service includes a time of prayer, preaching, and giving. The sermons are built on God’s Word and are aimed at transforming our lives to become more like Jesus Christ.
Free parking is available in our parking lot near the church and street parking is also available.
Our main entrance is at the front of the building. We have a ramp as well as steps at the front. We have greeters located at the doors who would be happy to help you find where you need to go.
There is a clean, well-staffed (screened), Kidzone for infants and toddlers, which is provided during our Sunday morning worship services. Children can stay in the Kidzone from 10am for Sunday School leading into Kids Church which goes up to 1:30pm.
We are more concerned about you and your presence with us than we are with what you wear. As a church, we gather to worship the Lord and want to dress in a way that honors God. Most of our members wear something in the range of dressy casual to Sunday best. Hats are not required and is optional.
From the pulpit you will hear sound expository preaching. The focus of each sermon is built around the point of the Biblical text being addressed.
Here at Greater Glory Church of God, we place a high priority on the preaching and teaching of God's Word. The worship service is a time for us to come together as a community to learn, be encouraged, and to be challenged by the Word of God. Other opportunities exist beyond Sunday Worship Services, including Wednesday evening Bible Study - where members have a chance to grow, fellowship, or otherwise be a part of a Church family that lives out their faith together.
Our Bishop and First Lady, along with the members, would love to meet you for a time of fellowship. Feel free to hang around to meet and greet!
