Greater Glory Church of God is a group of regular people who want to honor our Lord Jesus Christ and encourage each other to grow in our walk with Him.

It's important to us that you feel welcome when visiting. We hope our atmosphere will help you feel relaxed and comfortable. The music and worship are built around Biblical themes that are timeless. We are glad to have you join us in worship! You will be greeted and welcomed.

We are so glad you chose to worship with us and we are excited about all the things God has been doing and will do in our congregation! Lives are being changed by the power of God. There can be little doubt that we have very little power on our own for lasting change to happen in our lives, yet when we choose to allow the Lord to lead and guide us, amazing things can happen.

What are your services like?

Our services begin with a time of dynamic praise, worship and prayer. There is a special time for prayer of deliverance, open to anyone in need of prayer. We worship in dance, sign language, drama and there is ministry in song by a choir.

Our Pastor, Bishop Dennis Walton delivers the sermon in a very fiery and energetic manner.

Whether it is through the music, pray or preaching, God's word is at the center of all of our gatherings. Each service includes a time of prayer, preaching and giving. The sermons are built on God’s Word and is aim at transforming our lives to be more like Jesus Christ.

Where should I park?

Free parking is available in our parking lot near the church and street parking is also available.

Where should I go when I enter the building?

Our main entrance is at the front of the building. We have a ramp as well as steps at the front. We have greeters located at the doors who would be happy to help you find where you need to go.

What do you have For Kids?

There is a clean, well-staffed (screened), Kidzone for infants and toddlers, which is provided during our Sunday morning worship services. Children can stay in the Kidzone from 10am for Sunday School leading into Kids Church which goes up to 1:30pm.

What should I wear?

We are more concerned about you and your presence with us than we are with what you wear. As a church, we gather to worship the Lord and want to dress in a way that honors God. Most of our members wear something in the range of dressy casual to Sunday best. Hats are not required and is optional.

Sermon

From the pulpit you will hear sound expository preaching. The focus of each sermon is built around the point of the Biblical text being addressed.

Biblical Teaching

Here at Bryn Mawr Ave Church of God, we place a high priority on the preaching and teaching of God's Word. The worship service is a time for us to come together as a community to learn, be encouraged and to be challenged by God's Word. Other opportunities exist beyond the Sunday worship service, including Wednesday evening Bible Study, where members have a chance to grow, fellowship, or otherwise be a part of a Church family that lives out their faith together.

After the Service

Our Bishop and First Lady, along with the members, would love to meet you for a time of fellowship. Feel free to hang around to meet and greet!
